Write what you’ve
never said out loud.

The Creative Sentence workbook was created to give people space to process emotions, reflect deeply, and reconnect with themselves through writing, drawing, and action.

Buy one. Give one.
Every purchase puts a workbook into the hands of someone who has been impacted by the justice system.

Inside the workbook.

Every purchase creates access.

The Creative Sentence was built off experiences and relationships formed inside a prison classroom, where space to process emotion and reflect is often limited.
The workbook is now used by anyone looking to process, reflect, and grow. When you purchase a workbook, one is given to an individual impacted by the justice system.

What gets written when people have space

The following are excerpts of writing pieces from participants.

Dear Fear,

Somewhere along the way, you stopped being a feeling and started sounding like a warning siren — loud, relentless, urgent —even when there’s no real danger.

Sometimes, the best thing I can do is walk straight into you. Because fear isn’t always danger — sometimes, it’s growth.

You will always be a part of me, but I’m learning that you don’t have to lead.

— LG, Volunteer

Burnt Bridges

Behind me, I’ve burnt so many bridges, sometimes it’s hard for me to breathe.

Promises like shattered glass cover the street, discarded with the masks I used to get what I need.

Follow the burning wreckage and bloody tracks, they’ll lead you straight back to me.

— DC, Incarcerated Writer
